South Texas Divisional Competition Policy
Adopted 20 October 2001

Competitions that take place in the South Texas Division (hereafter know as the Division), and sponsored directly by the Division, will be offered to member clubs using the following guidelines for use of their space.

OPTION A - Host 40%, Division 60%
The Host will provide the space. The Division will provide personnel and equipment.

OPTION B - Flat Fee Rental
The Host will be paid a flat fee for the rental of their facility as determined by the Host. No profit share or other remuneration will occur.

OPTION C - Personnel & Facility
The Host will be paid an agreed amount in exchange for guaranteeing an established number of personnel to be used in set-up and tear-down of tournament equipment. The Division will draw up a contract between parties for the purpose of detailing expected responsibilities and numbers.
 

NOTES:

 

  1. Percentages discussed above refer to NET revenues after deduction of operating expenses (trophies and awards, directors' fees, printing and mailing costs, etc.).

  2. In the event that multiple hosts jointly sponsor a given tournament, said hosts shall share the non-Division share of the net revenue.

  3. Facilities need to be available for the entire time of the tournament, generally 7:00AM to 7:00PM, for Saturday AND Sunday or any part thereof.
